Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is one of the more effective types of talk therapy.
CBT targets and changes an individual's cognitive and behavioural coping mechanisms. The sessions are structured and patient-focused leading to quicker results.
CBT believes that thoughts, behaviours and emotions are all connected. The way to raise one’s mood is by changing one's thought patterns.
CBT also identifies an individual's behavioural patterns and changes them to be more effective coping mechanisms.
At the end of the day, CBT allows an individual to identify negative thinking so they can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more efficient way.
CBT is used to treat a wide range of difficulties:

About Me
I was born and raised in Canada and made aliya in 2010.
During my first few years in Israel I received my Bachelor's in Psychology from IDC Herzliya. I was able to cultivate my passion for helping others by interning at ENOSH (Israeli Mental Health Association) in one of the English speaking social support groups.
Followed by working as a rehabilitation counselor at Beit Ekstein helping adults with special needs enter the workplace.
I decided to focus and specialize my training from groups to helping individuals by being certified by Wingate college as a low intensity cognitive behavioural therapist.
My approach is to use proven tools from cognitive behavioural therapy to help patients (ages 6 and up) cope with symptoms of anxiety and depression.
